International Shipping FAQ


*PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the increased fees for shipping rates across the board, both domestic and international, we have temporarily suspended international shipping.  This page will be updated if/when we decide to being shipping internationally again.

First, thank you for your interest in the products that Tensolo Music Co. (TMC) has to offer!  We are setting ourselves apart from your normal music stores by offering gear that is overlooked or unwanted by the "big chain" music stores.  Hidden away across the world is great gear that is being manufactured by smaller companies, with incredibly quality and reasonable pricing.  With these products, you are buying the quality, not just a "brand name".

TMC is still a small and growing company.  Being small means that we don't get access to some of the best shipping prices available.  However, with our storefront on Reverb.com, we can take advantage of their large marketplace discounted shipping rates!

For all of our international friends, we invite you to please visit our shop on Reverb at https://www.tensolomusicco.com.

For any items that we can ship internationally, fixed rates will be set and available for purchase.  If there is an item you find that is not displaying international shipping rates, please message us through Reverb, or email us at sales@tensolo.com.  We can then determine whether the item is available for international shipping and add rates if it qualifies.

What qualifies for International Shipping?

Although we would love to offer all of our products to the world, there are certain brands that we are, by contract, not allowed to export outside of the US.  However, for anything else we carry, we are looking for the most efficient and cost effective ways to ship those items globally.  

What countries do you ship to?

At this time, we have opened up shipping to many parts of the world.  However, in some cases, there may be countries that we cannot ship to due to political or infrastructure reasons.  By infrastructure, we mean global shipping carriers that provide services to certain areas.  We currently only use - United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx and DHL.  If none of these carriers offer shipping services in your area, we will not be able to ship to you.  As we continue to grow, we hope to add more shipping services so that every corner of the world is covered!  If you are in a country that we currently do not have rates set up for, please contact us (Message us through Reverb or email sales@tensolo.com) and we will do our best to get rates added for you!

How do you calculate your shipping rates?

All of our product shipping costs are determined by weight package size.  Large, heavy items will cost the most.  Examples of these items are guitar combo amplifiers, multi-speaker enclosures and sometimes acoustic/semi-hollow electric guitars. Flat-rates are set on our Reverb listings due to the inability of their platform to display real-time shipping rates.

Who pays for international import duties, taxes and/or other fees?

Since we are a small company, we are unable to cover these additional expenses.  Thus, our customers will be responsible for covering any additional costs such as import duty fees and taxes if their country collects them.  Many times, these costs are due when the item arrives at its destination.  So please understand your countries duty/tax laws for international shipping and the possibility of having to pay those fees upon your items arrival.

What are the shipping times for international orders?

Shipping times will vary between carrier and destination.  The further you are away from the US, the longer it will take.  There are also many countries that lack the shipping infrastructure to offer expeditious shipping.
